1. About SwimSteps

SwimSteps provides guided swimming lesson content for parents and guardians to use with young children. Our lessons are educational in nature and are designed to complement — not replace — in-person swimming instruction supervised by a qualified professional.

2. Use of the Service

You may use SwimSteps for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:

Copy, redistribute, or resell any lesson content
Attempt to reverse engineer or extract lesson videos or materials
Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

3. Purchases & Payments

Individual lessons and the full course are available for purchase via PayPal. All prices are listed in USD. By completing a purchase you agree to PayPal's terms and conditions.

Purchases grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the purchased lesson content
We do not store your payment information — all transactions are handled by PayPal
Please contact us within 7 days of purchase if you experience any issues

4. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our content, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to purchased content, contact us at support@swimsteps.app and we will work to resolve it promptly.

5. Safety Disclaimer

SwimSteps provides educational content only and is not a substitute for professional swim instruction. All swimming activities carry inherent risks. SwimSteps lesson content is intended as supplementary guidance only and must not be treated as a replacement for qualified, in-person swimming instruction. You must ensure:

Children are always supervised by a responsible adult in or near water
Activities take place in a safe, appropriate aquatic environment
Children with medical conditions consult a healthcare professional before participating

6. Adult Supervision Required

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times in or near water. SwimSteps content is designed to be used under direct adult supervision. Under no circumstances should a child practise any swimming activity without a competent adult present and actively watching.

7. Use at Your Own Risk

By using SwimSteps, users acknowledge and accept that they assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their children. SwimSteps is not liable for any harm arising from failure to follow safety guidelines, misuse of lesson content, or unsafe conditions at any swimming facility or body of water.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwimSteps, its owners, and affiliates are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages — direct or indirect — resulting from following this content or using this service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant purchase, if any.

9. No Professional Guarantee

Results may vary. SwimSteps does not guarantee any specific swimming outcome. Progress depends on the individual child's age, ability, and frequency of practice. Content is provided for general educational purposes only.

10. Intellectual Property

All lesson videos, animations, text, and other content on SwimSteps are the property of SwimSteps and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of SwimSteps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
